• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 4+ years of labor and employment litigation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and drive litigation strategy.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience taking depositions and handling court appearances.
• A proactive mindset, strong team orientation, and commitment to client service and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation.
• Lead and manage all phases of litigation, including strategy and discovery.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests and oversee discovery process.
• Draft substantive pleadings, dispositive motions, and complex legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and appear in court as appropriate.
• Advise clients on routine employment issues and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with partners on case strategy while mentoring junior associates.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties professionally and effectively.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local employment law.
