Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited school of law and licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, plus three (3) years of experience as a practicing attorney, with one year in employment or labor law.
• Continuing legal education credits must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and participate in employment and labor matters for the Authority.
• Manage own caseload and draft pleadings, discovery requests, responses, briefs, and memoranda.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions, hearings, arbitrations and trials; advise management on labor/employment matters.
• Coordinate with senior attorneys in second chair roles on large matters.
• Conduct legal research and provide advice to client departments.
