Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced acute setting. You will collaborate with the care team, uphold facility policies, and support patient-centered care throughout shifts.

Candidates should have a nursing degree, Nevada RN license, BLS, and if possible ACLS/PALS/NRP depending on department. BSN preferred; one year acute care experience or specialty training is favored.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent.
• BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
