Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience.
• 7 years of communications, public relations, and/or journalism experience.
• 3-5 years experience with messaging and strategy related to labor communications.
• Extensive experience writing and editing communications for large audiences.
• Mastery level ability to gather information from diverse sources and craft compelling stories.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic recommendations for area of focus and set plan and priorities for cross-functional teams.
• Lead internally by building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Regular consultation with executives, leaders, and business partners.
• Review and mentor others, providing leadership and guidance to colleagues.
• Use data and insights to plan, optimize and innovate; communicate vision and plan to team.
• Lead cross-functional team to deliver on strategy and ensure roles align with outcomes.
• Own execution oversight to ensure delivery of strategy and persuade to build alignment.
• Perform other duties and projects as needed.
