Job summary

Upsher-Smith Laboratories, LLC in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Senior Associate, Labeling & Packaging Artwork to lead the creation, review, and lifecycle management of pharmaceutical labeling and packaging artwork. You will coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, QA, Manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure compliant, production-ready materials.

Responsibilities include translating regulatory content into artwork, managing revisions and approvals, and maintaining validated records while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Packaging, Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of pharmaceutical labeling, artwork management, or packaging experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Strong typography, layout and color management skills.
• Experience with prepress, dielines, proofs, and production-ready files.
• Familiarity with Veeva Vault, Esko WebCenter, Loftware or SAP preferred.
• Excellent proofreading and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead artwork development, revisions, approvals, implementation, and archival activities.
• Coordinate labeling changes from NDA, ANDA, supplements, and other regulatory actions.
• Translate approved content into production-ready artwork.
• Manage artwork workflows, version control, and change control.
• Collaborate with packaging suppliers, printers, CMOs, and manufacturing sites.
• Support launch readiness and ongoing labeling maintenance programs.
