Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or an associate degree in a related science field is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of related laboratory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical, administrative, and functional support to the Laboratory Services team.
• Supports sampling, testing, experimentation, chemical analysis, and documentation activities.
• Acts as a technical resource and subject matter expert for lesser-experienced team members.
• Coordinates daily work assignments and task prioritization for technicians within the Laboratory Services group.
• Performs laboratory functions and sub-sampling activities in accordance with established processes and procedures.
• Prepares and analyzes environmental, chemical, and radiological samples across various complex matrices.
• Assists in developing and updating laboratory processes and analytical procedures according to recognized standards.
• Evaluates analytical data by comparing to known standards to identify variances.
• Ensures testing procedures and safety regulations comply with applicable regulations, policies, and contractual requirements.
• Maintains active knowledge of safety policies and participates in Safety Work Groups.
