Job summary

ALS Middletown is looking for a PFAS laboratory technician to perform extractions using EPA methods and support analytical workflows in a fast-paced environment. You will prep samples, reagents, and glassware, load LCMS equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and traceability in accordance with ALS SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis using EPA Methods in accordance with ALS SOPs.
• Prepare reagents for use in sample preparation process.
• Responsible to safely and properly wash scientific glassware.
• Recognize and maintain safe working conditions.
• Use appropriate safety equipment.
• Perform recordkeeping to ensure documentation and traceability.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Load LCMS equipment for analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.
