A Taste of What You'll Do
Are you passionate about quality control and have a keen eye for detail? Join our dynamic team as a Senior Laboratory Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of our winery products! In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of physical, microbiological, and chemical analyses on alcoholic beverages, grapes, grape products, water, and other related materials. Your work will support quality control, winemaking, environmental monitoring, research, and the evaluation of products and processes.
You will utilize a broad range of analytical techniques and operate sophisticated equipment such as auto-titrators, refractometers, densitometers, gas chromatographs, infrared analyzers, and spectrophotometers. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential as you evaluate laboratory quality control data, perform instrument calibration and preventative maintenance, and engage in troubleshooting.
We value innovation and continuous improvement, and you will have the opportunity to suggest enhancements to our laboratory practices and participate in method development activities. Your leadership skills will also be utilized as you assist in the on-boarding and training of new laboratory personnel and provide support and direction to team members.
Our ideal candidate is a team player who can work independently with a strong understanding of quality and customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records in our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
