Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Lab Tech Sr. for an onsite 6‑month assignment in Santa Rosa, CA. You will process GC/MS and LC/MS/MS data and prepare reports under SOPs, ensuring accurate batch sequencing and proper Chain of Custody documentation.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field, with experience in LC/MS/MS or GC/MS and safe handling of biological samples and chemicals. Expect a hands-on, quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biology, or a related field.
Ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.
Experience with LC/MS/MS and/or GC/MS instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures.
Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch.
Process acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reports.
Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data by each assay SOP.
Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certification.
Maintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentation.
Communicate with supervisors and promptly escalate emerging challenges.
Maintain and promote a safe healthful environment for self and co-workers.
