Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Lab Tech Sr. in Santa Rosa, CA for a 6-month contract. The role involves processing GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS data after instrumental analysis for drugs of abuse, with first shift Tue-Sat 8:00–4:30.

You will read SOPs, verify sample identities, process instrument data, perform an initial data review, and upload results to LIS for final certification. Safe handling of specimens and accurate documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biology, or related field.
• The ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow SOPs for analytical workflows.
• Identify samples and verify batch sequence accuracy.
• Process instrument data and generate reports.
• Conduct initial review of GC/MS and LC/MS data per SOP.
• Transcribe or upload results to LIS for final review.

Title: Lab Tech Sr.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95403

Duration: 06 Months Contract

Pay Rate: $22.50/hr

Shift: 1st shift -TUESDAY - SATURDAY 8 AM - 4:30 pm

This role will process GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS data following instrumental analysis for drugs of abuse.

What You'll Work On

• Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures
• Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch
• Process acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reports
• Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data by each assay SOP
• Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certification
• Maintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentation
• Communication with supervisors and prompt escalation of emerging challenges
• Maintain and promote a safe healthful environment for self and co-workers

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
