Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, preferably in chemistry or biochemistry, plus 1 year of laboratory setting experience.
• Alternatively, a High School diploma/GED with 3+ years of laboratory experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required to support transports between sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain flow of laboratory glassware, supplies, materials, and information per cGMP.
• Prioritize workload to meet timelines and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
• Take ownership from initiation to completion to meet commitments.
• Escalate items per department escalation strategy.
• Ensure compliance training, QE and CAPA deadlines; audit notebooks and logs.
• Log samples into the LIMS system correctly.
• Identify cost savings and drive continuous improvement.
• Support testing activities and department/company initiatives.
• Complete GMP training on time.
• Create, track, and archive logbooks for required equipment.
• Dispose samples and manage sample lifecycle from receipt to disposal.
• Maintain laboratory databases including stock login, review, and inventory tracking.
• Foster teamwork and respectful work environment.
• Recommend updates to Lab Ops procedures and maintain housekeeping.
• Participate in annual hazardous waste training and spills response.
