Kelly Services is seeking a Sr Associate (Lab Operations & Facilities) for a contract-to-hire position in Philadelphia, PA. The role provides hands-on operational support across lab and office environments, reporting to the Facility Manager and collaborating with the Lab Manager to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 1 year in an operations-specific role.
• Working knowledge of lab inventory management and procurement processes.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for common lab equipment.
• Familiarity with EH&S and safety compliance practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Facility Manager to respond to and resolve eWO requests from lab and office teams.
• Maintain lab and facility inventory, track supply levels, place orders, and coordinate procurement.
• Support equipment troubleshooting and coordinate vendor service calls to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine safety equipment checks and EH&S compliance documentation.
• Assist with shipping/receiving, labeling, and courier coordination.
• Manage lab waste streams and ensure proper labeling, storage, and disposal.
• Assist with lab/facility projects, moves, and EH&S activities.
• Provide office management support as bandwidth allows.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements for scalability.
