Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates business needs of customers and end users.
• Maintains knowledge of laboratory safety procedures for biohazards and chemicals, and quality control procedures.
• Understands laboratory operations protocols and executes responsibilities with strong attention to detail.
• Drives results through service, quality, and continuous improvement by ensuring procedures and processes lead to quality results.
• Trains incoming Laboratory Operations Specialists by following SOPs and procedures.
• Conducts interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, site visits, and use cases.
• Defines project scope and metrics for requirements analysis per project.
• Prioritizes collected requirements with stakeholders.
• Analyzes and improves requirements-gathering processes.
• Verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility, and standards.
• Writes requirements specifications using standard templates.
• Translates customer requirements into functional specs for developers.
• Creates process models, diagrams, and charts for developers.
• Develops peer reviews of business requirements.
• Interprets customer requirements into feasible options for stakeholders.
• Manages and tracks requirements through the project lifecycle.
• Communicates changes to managers and stakeholders per needs.
