Qualifications

• Five+ years in a laboratory environment.
• Bachelor's Degree BS MT (Required).

Responsibilities

• Motivate team to attain organizational goals by effectively utilizing lab initiatives.
• Manage the performance and behavior of staff using performance tools.
• Identify, analyze, and solve problems; keep management informed of issues.
• Distribute and assign work to staff.
• Perform advanced/specialized tests and adjust methodologies as needed.
• Review and approve specialized and problem reports for accuracy.
• Initiate quality-control measures and monitor adherence to standards.
• Prepare written correspondence related to performance management and reports.
• Complete special projects such as surveys and statistical analyses.
• Understand technical skills needed within departments and suggest improvements.
• Assist with resolving problems for critical accounts.
• Cover duties of technologist during absences or peak workloads.
