Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Experienced Engineering Technical Specialist (Level 3) to support risk managed framework compliance and manage embedded/host PCs on avionics test benches for F-15 systems.

The role builds and maintains Linux server environments, supports RHEL 9, containerization, AD and file services, and ensures security clearance requirements are met; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• 6+ years related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Hold one of the listed certifications (Security+ or CISSP family or GIAC).
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure embedded and host PCs on test benches.
• Support RHEL 9 and Linux server environments.
• Install, configure, patch and maintain systems and networks.
• Support containerization and related tooling.
• Manage Active Directory and file servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software or process issues.
• Execute monthly OS patching and anti-virus updates.
• Create user accounts and reset passwords.
• Run backups on workstations and servers.
• Maintain compliance with Risk Managed Framework and NISPOM.
• Maintain lab access lists and signage.
• Travel up to 10% domestically or internationally as needed.
