Job summary

Blueprint Technologies, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support advanced lab and development environments, focusing on server infrastructure, hardware operations, and automation. The role combines hands-on hardware work with virtualization and enterprise systems administration in a fast-paced engineering setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of systems administration experience, strong hardware deployment skills, and proficiency with Hyper‑V, AD/DNS, and remote management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in information systems, CS, or engineering.
• 5+ years of enterprise lab infrastructure experience.
• Experience with virtualization including Hyper‑V.
• Hands‑on server hardware deployment and troubleshooting.
• Experience with AD, DNS, imaging, patching, endpoint management.
• Experience with remote management platforms such as iLO, iDRAC, KVM.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across hardware and software.
• Ability to work onsite in Redmond, WA.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server and Linux-based lab environments.
• Deploy, image, and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, and hardware.
• Build and support virtualized environments using Hyper‑V.
• Configure AD, DNS, networking, and remote access.
• Support hardware deployment incl. rack-and-stack.
• Perform break/fix troubleshooting across server, network, firmware, OS, and infrastructure components.
• Conduct firmware updates, hardware diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor and maintain lab infrastructure health and capacity.
• Assist lab expansion, asset tracking, and documentation.
• Coordinate equipment moves, deployments, and decommissioning.
• Utilize ServiceNow or equivalent for ticketing.
• Participate in infrastructure planning, environment optimization, and operational improvement.
• Ensure compliance with standards.
