Job summary

NEW YOU BRANDS is seeking a Lab Chemist II to perform routine and moderately complex analytical testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished dietary supplement products. You will work per 21 CFR Part 111, cGMP, SOPs, GDP, and approved methods.

You will prepare standards, operate HPLC/GC/FTIR, and contribute to investigations, CAPA, and data trending in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A BA/BS in a related field and 3–5 years of GMP lab experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of laboratory experience in GMP-regulated environments preferred.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer, dissolution, or wet chemistry preferred.
• Experience with microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, or compendial methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and moderately complex analytical testing using techniques including titration, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer, dissolution, HPLC, and GC.
• Independently test materials and finished products per approved specifications and test methods.
• Prepare standards, reagents, solutions and other materials for testing.
• Operate laboratory instruments and calibrate equipment as needed.
• Review results and communicate out-of-spec findings to QA management.
• Contribute to investigations, CAPA, and data trending.
