Job summary

NEW YOU BRANDS is seeking a Lab Chemist III to perform advanced analytical testing and support method development in a cGMP environment. You will lead testing of raw materials, in-process materials, stability samples, and finished dietary supplement products using HPLC, UHPLC/MS, GC, ICP-MS, and other techniques.

The role requires 6–10 years in a GMP-regulated lab, proficiency with dissolution testing, and the ability to guide analysts and drive CAPA activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• 6–10 years of experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment (pharma, dietary supplement, or QC).
• Proficiency with advanced analytical techniques: HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer, dissolution testing.
• Experience with method development, verification, validation, transfer, and CAPA processes.
• Ability to lead investigations and provide technical guidance to analysts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex analytical testing using techniques including titration, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer, dissolution, HPLC, UHPLC/MS, GC, ICP-MS and more.
• Independently test raw materials, in-process materials, stability samples, and finished products per approved specs.
• Develop, verify, validate, optimize, and transfer analytical methods and transfer to QC labs.
• Review analytical data for accuracy, completeness and compliance with specifications.
• Investigate OOS, OOT, atypical results, and perform CAPA with root-cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot methods, instruments, and data integrity issues; train and mentor analysts.
