Job summary

The Lab Chemist III is a senior-level laboratory position responsible for performing complex chemical and analytical testing in support of raw materials, in-process materials, stability samples, and finished dietary supplement products.

This position operates in accordance with 21 CFR Part 111, applicable cGMP requirements, approved specifications, compendial standards, laboratory procedures, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 6–10 years in GMP-regulated lab environment.
• Experience with advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer, dissolution).
• Experience with method development, verification, validation, CAPA, and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex analytical testing using multiple techniques per approved specs.
• Lead investigations (OOS/OOT) and contribute to CAPA development.
• Review and evaluate analytical data for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare standards, reagents, and mobile phases for testing.
• Train and mentor analysts in methods, instruments, and GDP.
• Support stability testing programs and data trending.
• Maintain complete lab records and ensure instrument calibration.
