Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accession patient information into Laboratory information system(s).
• Check all requests for proper and accurate patient information.
• Consult with Supervisor or Technologist if request is problematic.
• Notify physician or nursing staff if sample is inappropriate or compromised.
• Adhere to safety/health regulatory requirements and hospital procedures.
• Assist in routine monitoring of lab equipment and temperature-controlled units.
