Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a phlebotomy technician to assist laboratory staff with routine tests and specimen processing. You will perform phlebotomy on adults and children, instruct patients on collection, and handle clerical duties and report distribution.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, processing charges, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and safety policies. Requires at least a high school diploma and a phlebotomy program, with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Label, identify and store specimens; instruct patients on collection.
  • Distribute lab reports and handle routine clerical duties.
  • Assist with inventory, supply orders and lab equipment maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety policies and complete required training and meetings.
