Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Lab Administrator to lead lab operations, mentor junior staff, and support existing and new software tools for the labs. The role requires deep technical knowledge and hands-on problem solving across lab environments.

The candidate should be proficient in UNIX (FreeBSD), Perl/Python, TCP/IP, and VMware ESX Administration, with strong experience in building and deploying virtual machines and managing lab topology changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience within the labs.
• Certifications are plus: VMWARE Certified Associate

Responsibilities

• Installation of network and/or computer equipment
• Software re-installation of lab devices
• Adding new devices to our database system
• Troubleshooting and replacing of broken hardware
• Building or changing topologies between devices, and documenting the changes
• Building and deploying Virtual Machines (using Proxmox or ESX vCenter)
