Job summary

BayInfotech seeks a Network Administrator to manage daily IT operations, support the eLab training environment, respond to work requests, monitor network status, install equipment, and escalate issues as needed.

The role requires 5 years of Perl scripting, VMware ESX/ESXi, Windows XP/7/8, Cisco LAN/WAN, SSL/VPN, and DNS/DHCP with routing protocols. Strong troubleshooting and production IT experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with VMware ESX/ESXi v4.1 to v5.1 and vMotion.
• Must have 5 years of in-depth experience writing and modifying PERL scripts.
• Must have solid hands-on experience with Windows XP/7/8.
• Must have hands-on experience installing, configuring and supporting Cisco LAN/WAN platforms, SSL/VPN, Cisco Firewalls.
• Experience with DNS/DHCP and routing protocols (EIGRP/OSPF/BGP).
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Experience with DNS/DHCP and routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and their application in a global company.
• Must have outstanding troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or 7+ years of Network Administration experience.
