Job summary

Trinity Health's Family Birth Center seeks a Clinical Practice Leader (RN, MSN) to coordinate care on a Labor and Delivery unit. This role focuses on quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and outcomes, leveraging evidence-based practice to improve care delivery for both normal and high-risk births.

The CPL collaborates with obstetricians, midwives, and nursing staff, leads governance activities, and mentors colleagues. Day shifts with full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing required for clinical leadership.
• Current RN licensure in Michigan.
• 3+ years in Women’s and Children’s Health / Labor and Delivery.
• Experience leading care coordination and practice improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessments and develop care plans across the unit.
• Consult with physicians and care team to communicate patient progress.
• Lead quality huddles and participate in governance and system reviews.
• Mentor nursing staff and support residency or project development.
• Identify resources to optimize patient care and reduce costs.
