Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Michigan seeks a Clinical Practice Leader to support the Family Birth Center. The RN will coordinate care for obstetric patients, lead quality initiatives, and translate evidence into practice to improve outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with obstetricians, midwives, and nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality care in a high-volume labor and delivery setting.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (Clinical, Education, Administration all acceptable).
• Current licensure as Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Three or more years' experience in Women's and Children's Health / Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Performs and oversees holistic assessments and develops a plan of care in collaboration with other providers.
• Consults on complex problems, documents progress, and communicates with physicians and care team.
• Ensures patient/family preparation for care across continuum, prioritizing high-risk and medically complex patients.
• Demonstrates critical thinking to evaluate and optimize patient outcomes.
• Applies evidence-based practice to improve patient care outcomes.
• Leads and participates in unit leadership quality initiatives and governance.
• Mentors and supports nursing staff and promotes residency and project development.
