Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Engineer to lead design, implementation, and management of enterprise-scale Kubernetes platforms across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.

You will drive automation, security, and reliability, build operators, CI/CD pipelines, and governance, mentor engineers, and partner with teams to deliver scalable, resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD/CKS) preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes Operators Framework and multi-cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Kubernetes clusters and supporting infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain custom Kubernetes operators and controllers.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments.
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls.
• Architect high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop automation for cluster lifecycle management.
• Design and implement GitOps workflows.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
