Job summary

Bank of America seeks a Senior Software Engineer – Kubernetes Platform Engineering to define and deliver cloud-native platform capabilities across the enterprise container ecosystem. You will lead API design, Kubernetes automation, service mesh enablement, and CI/CD modernization with Golang APIs and developer self-service capabilities.

Qualifications

10+ years in software or platform engineering, with cloud-native experience.
Strong Go/API/microservices development and automation experience.
Hands-on Kubernetes and OpenShift in enterprise environments.
Proven CI/CD and GitOps implementation expertise.
Experience with service mesh and distributed systems, security and compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and engineering of scalable, secure platform services.
Define technology tool stacks and automation patterns.
Mentor multiple teams and influence engineering strategy.
Drive platform modernization and API-driven platform engineering.
Collaborate with SRE, security, DevOps, and application teams.
