Job summary

Peraton is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to serve as Tier 3 escalation for AKS and ARK agentic-runtime environments. You will lead incident investigations, manage high‑severity outages, and communicate with stakeholders from a remote office.

You''ll define observability standards across tenant clusters, optimize performance and security, and enforce Change Management. The role requires FedRAMP knowledge, Kubernetes expertise, and strong leadership across multi‑tenant environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience across Kubernetes in production.
• Experience leading incident management in multi-tenant environments with FedRAMP knowledge.
• Hands-on expertise operating AKS and Kubernetes components.
• Experience deploying Agentic Runtime for Kubernetes (ARK) and CRD-controller patterns.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex incidents and outages across AKS and ARK.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement durable fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Manage high-priority incident communications with stakeholders and leadership.
• Define observability standards and monitor tenant clusters across environments.
• Collaborate with Architecture to align with Azure Well-Architected Framework.
