Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an expert Senior Support Engineer with strong Kubernetes, Linux, and software development background. This hybrid role focuses on customer support, with opportunities to contribute to software development and system-level troubleshooting for Slinky, Kubernetes, and Slurm.

You will deploy and operate Slinky, debug complex issues, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Deployment teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical support and systems software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, operators, scheduling, networking, storage, and cluster operations.
• Experience troubleshooting production Kubernetes environments with logs, metrics, and debugging tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and file systems.
• Experience with Go or C or similar languages; familiarity with software development lifecycles and Agile.
• Experience with containers and GPU technologies.
• Strong analytical and customer-focused communication.

Responsibilities

• Support customers deploying and operating Slinky.
• Debug and resolve Slinky issues related to deployment, reliability, and performance.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Slinky software, Kubernetes integrations, and tooling.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards.
• Build automated tests and troubleshooting tools to improve reliability and prevent regressions.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Infrastructure, and Deployment teams.
• Stay current with Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and related technologies.
