Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Engineering Consultant 2 in the United States to drive requirements, design, and integration for financial services projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes (EKS), AWS, Terraform, and GitOps practices, with responsibilities spanning design reviews, prototyping, validation, and documentation. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience may substitute for education.
• Relocation and/or travel to work/project location may be required.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable specifications.
• Participate in design meetings, create initial design concepts, and support development of designs.
• Iterate engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, coordinate with teams to implement feedback.
• Develop and refine solution specs and perform validation activities, including simulations.
• Build and refine prototypes, incorporate testing results and cross-functional feedback.
• Undertake technical integration, ensure system functionality, resolve interoperability issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and organize knowledge-sharing sessions.
