Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Mobile Device Management (MDM) Team to design and implement scalable solutions within our Unified IT Operations Platform. You will work on backend services in a cloud, microservices environment on AWS, contributing to end-to-end product development and collaborating with industry leaders to shape enterprise mobility strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years’ experience in Kotlin or Java software development for product applications or equivalent.
• 4+ years’ experience working with highly scalable software systems
• Working knowledge of breadth of OOP design principles.
• Knowledge of API best practices and REST service development using frameworks like Spring boot.
• Expert knowledge of relational Database design and development experience.
• Experience creating both client and server-side development for responsive messaging.
• Experience with RabbitMQ; familiarity with Kafka is a plus.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices, deploying on ECS and running them in AWS.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tooling is valued
• Caching systems expertise and experience with Redis is preferred.
• Solid expertise in Kotlin will make you a standout candidate.
