Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Knowledge Engineer to own the discipline of enterprise knowledge engineering and the semantic layer. You will shape ontology strategy, design semantic layers, and defend technical decisions with senior stakeholders.

The role emphasizes leading a methodology over individual tasks, with travel as required. This is a senior technical track within Accenture's Reinvention Services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in knowledge engineering, semantic web, ontology design, or related data disciplines.
• At least 2 years on AI/LLM-based work.
• 6+ years with knowledge-graph technologies and enterprise graph databases.
• 6+ years of managerial or discipline-leadership experience.
• 2+ years of publishing or public speaking in the discipline.
• 3+ years owning a productized offering, platform, or methodology.

Responsibilities

• Own the discipline of enterprise knowledge engineering and semantic layer development.
• Defend and evolve ontology templates, entity-resolution patterns, and semantic serving architectures.
• Explain the value of the semantic layer to senior stakeholders and guide technical decisions across engagements.
