Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior knowledge engineer to own the discipline of enterprise knowledge engineering. You will lead scaled ontology creation, semantic-layer design, and related patterns, ensuring the ontology meets client needs and architectural standards.

You will defend your methodology to architects and CFOs, while guiding engagement teams. This role focuses on owning a productized offering and shaping enterprise knowledge strategy within a global context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in knowledge engineering, semantic web, ontology design, or related data disciplines.
• 6+ years with knowledge-graph technologies (RDF, SPARQL, SHACL) and enterprise graph databases.
• 6+ years of managerial or discipline-leadership experience; able to explain the semantic layer value to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own scaled ontology creation and semantic-layer design; defend and evolve the ontology.
• Develop ontology templates and semantic-serving reference architectures for engagements.
• Explain the value of the semantic layer to executives and align with other technical teams.
