Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Associate Director to own enterprise knowledge engineering services, including ontology creation and semantic-layer design. You will defend modeling decisions and articulate business value to senior stakeholders.

You will lead three areas: building scalable ontologies, defining templates and reference architectures, and communicating the value of semantic layers to clients. Travel up to 0–100% may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in knowledge engineering, semantic web, or related data disciplines.
• Minimum of 6 years with knowledge-graph technologies (RDF, SPARQL, SHACL) and enterprise graphs.
• 6+ years of managerial or discipline-leadership experience with senior stakeholders (per the W16 scaffold).
• Minimum of 2 years publishing or speaking publicly in the discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years owning a productized offering, platform, or methodology — not just consulting within one.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Scaled ontology creation, semantic-layer design, knowledge-agent patterns.
• Ontology templates, entity-resolution patterns, semantic serving reference architectures.
• Explain the value of the semantic layer to a CFO and defend an OWL modeling decision to an architect in the same meeting — and the market hears the argument from you.
