Accenture is seeking an Associate Director to own the industry digital-brain discipline within a vertical. You will lead the threefold mandate: discovery and ontology work, lifecycle governance, and defining industry voices in executive discussions.

Travel may be required (0–100%). This senior role emphasizes owning a methodology over pure consulting and requires deep knowledge across insurance, communications, or retail sectors.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in your industry; translate domain knowledge into data products, ontologies, or AI use cases
• 5+ years working with industry clients at the executive level
• Working fluency with knowledge graphs, taxonomies, and retrieval-augmented generation
• Minimum of 2 years publishing or speaking publicly on AI in your industry
• Minimum of 3 years owning a productized offering, platform, or methodology — not just consulting

Responsibilities

• Industry discovery and baseline, super-ontology design and build, lifecycle management as regulation and markets shift — defend and evolve.
• The industry ontology itself, the vertical agent patterns, the regulatory hooks — assets that compound engagement over engagement.
• You are the named industry voice — analyst conversations, industry councils, the public argument for encoded industry knowledge as competitive moat.
