Job summary

Children's Health in Plano, TX, is seeking a Sr Kitchen Maintenance Tech to maintain, modify, troubleshoot, and repair a large inventory of commercial kitchen equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, install new equipment, and advise on capital needs, with a focus on safe, reliable operation.

The role requires 3–5 years experience (5–7 preferred), a high school diploma or equivalent, and Universal Technician certification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating, plus a valid

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Universal Technician certification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating required (90 days).
• Current and valid state driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components in commercial kitchen equipment including compressors, fans, and controls.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as coolers, freezers, ice machines, and other restaurant equipment.
• Perform general and scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain inventory and advise management on capital equipment needs.
• Log into the work order system to accept and complete requests.
