Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?ROLE SUMMARY:The Senior Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with Retail Customers, Wholesalers, Category Managers, and Key Operational Personnel relevant to their market. The overall purpose of this position is to deliver Anheuser-Busch sales objectives, including volume, share, distribution, assortment, and execution. This position works under a regional Retail Sales Director. The primary function of this role is to drive growth through strategic retailer sell-in, category leadership, and joint business planning, while partnering with and influencing wholesaler teams to ensure best-in-class execution in market. The KAM position must maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, competitive dynamics, and beer category strategies.JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:Product knowledge of AB’s entire portfolioDevelop and execute Joint Business Plans with key retail customer to achieve mutual growth objectivesUtilize syndicated data and category insights to influence assortment, pricing, promotion, and merchandising decisionsIdentify and sell in new item distribution opportunities to drive volume, share, and POD growthBuild and maintain strategic relationships with retailer decision-makers and category managers.Learn, manage, and own knowledge of the competitive landscape in assigned marketPartner cross-functionally with Category, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Sales teams to develop customer-specific growth strategies.Complete knowledge of both AB & competitive pricing and be able to develop plans to maximize opportunitiesField day-to-day questions from wslrs and work with strategic partners to find resolutionsProvide key reporting and insights to internal Region and or office mgmt. to help improve market conditionsProvide total account management; communicate Regional corporate programs and local brand promotionsUtilize sales tools (Retail Link, iDig, PBI, IRI, IRI Data Web, etc.)Foster relationships with AB field sales and wholesaler personnel, and maintain active communications with key stakeholders in the fieldEvaluate strategies and action plans against allocated budget; manage budgetsContribute to development and management of annual account planFacilitate communication of wholesaler’s pricing to chain accountProvides feedback to management on strategic opportunitiesProvides monthly reports to management on local chains and programming performancesCoordinates with Marketing team to develop chain-specific marketing and advertising plansEducates and influences corporate decision-makers on product promotionsJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Local to Phoenix, ArizonaBS/BA degree required, focus in business, finance, marketing or related field preferredSales and/or Marketing experience preferably in the beverage or consumer package goods industryProven Leadership Ability/Advanced Supervisory Skills/Demonstrated Coaching Skills RequiredAbility to work hours as required (nights, weekends, etc.)Advanced computer software proficiency (word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint)High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information-based recommendations.Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures is preferred.Effective communications/presentation, follow-up, administrative and organizational skills.Field and retail sales experience in the beverage industry or other consumer product industries.WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH:At Anheuser-Busch, our purpose is to create a future with more cheers.
