Job summary

GFT Architects, Inc. seeks a Sr. Justice Architectural Project Manager to lead our Justice Architecture team, advancing design excellence and community‑centered environments within the justice and corrections market.

You will guide multi‑disciplinary design teams from concept through construction, grow client relationships, pursue new work, and coordinate with market leaders in a hybrid work setting, with periodic in‑person collaboration in Ebensburg, PA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in the justice and corrections market.
• 15+ years’ experience in architecture.
• Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree.
• Knowledge of justice design standards (ACA, NIC).
• Experience leading projects, business development pursuits, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the Justice Architecture team and client engagements.
• Promote firm’s capabilities within the justice and corrections market.
• Coordinate with market leaders to execute growth strategy across regions.
• Lead pre-positioning, proposals, and client presentations.
• Direct design teams to develop technical drawings, specs, and constructability reviews.
• Guide production teams through coordination with engineers and subconsultants.
• Mentor junior staff and support professional development.
