Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electrical systems in rural Alaska. The successful candidate will ensure electrical work complies with local and national codes.

Your role will include managing electrical distribution systems for various ANTHC facilities and mentoring lower-level electricians. This position demands expertise in safety procedures, experienced judgment in emergency situations, and an ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician I: Certificate of Fitness as an Electrician Journeyman.
• Journeyman Electrician II: Four years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Journeyman Electrician III: Eight years of experience, or two years as an electrical administrator.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains high-level electrical systems in rural Alaska.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical circuits and equipment.
• Provides technical assistance for existing electrical systems.
