Operational Targeteer role located in Undisclosed VA requires Top Secret/SCI with poly, deep expertise in joint targeting cycles, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years w/o a degree or 10 years with AS/AA or 8 years with BA/BS or 6 years with MS/MA or 3 years with PhD
• Operational-level experience at JTF, CCMD, or equivalent joint headquarters (tactical-only experience does not substitute)
• Prior assignment to a Joint Targeting Cell, JTCB, or equivalent joint fires/targeting organization (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of the Joint Targeting Coordination Board (JTCB) process, integrating commander's intent with joint and combined targeting operations
• Develop, synchronize, and assess target nominations across multiple domains air, land, maritime, cyber, and space
• Bridge strategic objectives and tactical strike execution, ensuring targeting products align with operational priorities and legal authorities
• Integrate with CCMD or equivalent joint headquarters staff to support theater-level targeting requirements
• Apply expertise in LOAC, IHL, and proportionality analysis to ensure compliant, defensible targeting decisions in complex environments
• Leverage advanced targeting systems and tools to produce timely, accurate, and actionable targeting products
