Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Operational Targeteer to join our joint targeting team. You will bridge strategic intent with tactical execution across CCMDs, working with JTCB processes to drive the full Joint Targeting Cycle across domains.

You'll apply LOAC/IHL expertise, leverage targeting systems (MIDB, JADOCS, MAAS) and collaborate with joint headquarters to deliver compliant, actionable targeting products in a high-visibility, national-security environment. Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Experience at the operational level in JTF/CCMD or equivalent joint headquarters.
• Completion of Joint Targeting School (JTS) or equivalent targeting training.
• Proven ability to manage targeting across multiple domains and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of the JTCB process to integrate intent with targeting ops.
• Develop and assess target nominations across air, land, maritime, cyber, space.
• Bridge strategic objectives with tactical strike execution and legal authorities.
• Integrate with CCMD staff to support theater-level targeting requirements.
• Apply LOAC/IHL/proportionality analysis to ensure compliant targeting decisions.
• Leverage targeting systems to produce timely, accurate targeting products.
