Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Joint Live/Virtual/Constructive Technician (JLVC) Senior to support the MTCCS II program in Hawaii.

You will integrate JLVC capabilities, configure networks, and sustain complex simulation environments to enable realistic, multi-domain training. You will advise government staff, troubleshoot issues, and ensure interoperability across live, virtual, and constructive systems while maintaining strong security posture and DIACAP/RMF processes.

Qualifications

• Education: BS/BA in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, technical certifications and training.
• Required Experience: 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in modeling and simulation, systems integration, or military training systems; preferred 5+ years’ experience supporting JLVC training environments; preferred 3+ years’ experience supporting Army or Joint collective training events.
• Required Technical Skills: Experience in supervising the configuring, maintaining, operating and integrating of the JLVC federation services and interoperability solutions; Strong understanding of DISA STIG compliance and integration; Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration; Practical experience managing gateway services, federation interfaces, and simulation connectivity; Must validate data exchange and support distributed joint and multinational exercises.
• Certification: Comp TIA SEC+ certification required; Linux OS preferred
• Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Required Skills and Abilities: Superb presentation and communication skills; Strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on simulation requirements and training objectives

Responsibilities

• Integrate JLVC capabilities to deliver realistic, complex, and multi-domain training environments.
• Configure and maintain JLVC systems, networks, and interfaces to ensure reliable connectivity and operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across live, virtual, and constructive systems to minimize disruption.
• Synchronize simulation architectures and data exchanges to ensure interoperability among Joint and Army training systems.
• Support the JELC to enable seamless mission command training events.
• Advise contract, customer staff, and exercise planners on JLVC capabilities, limitations, risk, and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with government staff, contractors, and external organizations to resolve integration challenges and improve training outcomes.
• Implement the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP/RMFI) to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate.
• Enhance the training experience by delivering innovative, reliable, and realistic simulation capabilities.
• Provide rapid problem solving during high visibility exercises.
• Participates in special projects as required
