Job summary

Talos Energy Operating Company LLC seeks a JIB Supervisor to lead the joint interest billing accounting functions, including reviewing and posting non-operated statements, operated JIs, and cash applications to ensure accurate partner balances.

The role partners with another JIB Supervisor to provide leadership, compliance with JOAs, COPAS guidelines, and strong internal controls to support audit readiness and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum of 8 years' accounting experience in the Exploration & Production oil/gas industry, with significant experience in joint interest billing or non-operated accounting.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and develop the JIB team, including assigning work and monitoring deadlines.
• Review and post non-operated statements and operator joint interest entries according to policies.
• Monitor and resolve non-operated and operated disputes in a timely manner.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of non-operated accruals and review accruals.
