Job summary

Bombardier Learjet in Tucson is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to support turbine engine and APU maintenance on corporate jets. You will follow engineering orders, inspect components, and ensure airworthiness of aircraft before operation.

The role requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, 8+ years of turbine engine line or shop experience, and at least 1 year on Bombardier aircraft. Join a team dedicated to safety, quality, and on-time performance.

Qualifications

FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required.
Eight+ years aircraft turbine engine line or shop maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent.
Minimum of two years experience on corporate jet aircraft.
Minimum of one year experience on Bombardier aircraft.
Proficient in completing engine R&R’s, borescopes and written reports.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Bombardier General Work Instructions for factory, shop and/or hanger positions.
Inspect engines and/or APU’s, components and associated aircraft systems for damage to ensure airworthiness.
Interpret discrepancies or maintenance logs to understand history and determine next steps to return to service.
Recommend replacement, repair, or modification of engines/APU’s based on inspection.
Perform installation, removal or modification of turbine engines/APU’s per drawings and publications.
Inspect completed work to certify maintenance adheres to standards and airworthiness.
Assist Aviation Maintenance Technicians in operating ground support equipment and completing engine runs.
Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
