Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC invites an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

You will build RESTful APIs, work with Hibernate/JPA, and optimize SQL queries while applying security with Spring Security and OAuth2. The role requires AWS exposure, Docker/Kubernetes familiarity, and collaboration across DevOps, QA, and business teams.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
• Expertise in Microservices architecture and REST API development.
• Experience with Hibernate, JPA, and JDBC.
• Strong SQL knowledge with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Unit testing experience using JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Develop backend components using Java 8/11/17 and J2EE technologies.
• Work with Hibernate, JPA, and Spring Data for database operations.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
• Implement application security using Spring Security and OAuth2.
• Develop and maintain applications using AWS services.
• Participate in application architecture, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning and technical discussions.
