Qualifications

• At least 10 years of Java experience leading development teams
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and microservices
• Experience defining standards and conducting design reviews
• Experience leading Agile delivery with sprint planning and estimation using JIRA
• Strong troubleshooting across distributed systems and production environments

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices
• Define architecture and coding standards while conducting design and code reviews for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
• Provide technical direction to the development team and troubleshoot complex distributed systems and production issues
• Lead Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, technical estimation, backlog refinement, and alignment with business priorities
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and coordinate with architects, product stakeholders, and delivery teams
