Transcend IT Solutions in McLean, VA seeks an senior Java leader to architect and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs. You will also integrate with Angular frontends and advocate TDD/BDD across the team.

Responsibilities include code reviews, technical design, and sprint planning while troubleshooting production issues for a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of Java development and deep experience with Spring ecosystems, microservices, and modern CI/CD

Formación

• 15+ years of Java development and technical lead experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.
• RESTful API design and development.
• gRPC — service definition, Protobuf, client/server implementation.
• Angular (component development, services, RxJS).
• SQL and relational database experience.
• Microservices architecture.
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum.
• AI Tool knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical solution.
• Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Work on frontend integration with Angular.
• Write and maintain automated test suites (UI, API & BDD).
• Drive TDD/BDD practices across the team.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
