Job summary

Transcend is seeking a senior software professional in the United States to design and implement reusable frameworks, develop scalable microservices, and optimize performance across platforms. Responsibilities include deploying on AWS, writing efficient SQL, conducting code reviews, and building robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Engineering or related fields with 8 years of progressive experience or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience.
• Related occupation: Software Developer, Software Consultant, Java Developer, Tech Lead or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable frameworks, application architectures, and core libraries to standardize development practices
• Build and maintain enterprise-grade applications using various computer languages and frameworks
• Develop and design scalable microservices and web services
• Implement event-driven and asynchronous systems. Deploy, configure, and optimize applications on AWS cloud environments
• Develop schemas, stored procedures, and complex queries ensuring performance and reliability
• Write, debug and optimize high performance and secure code across multiple platforms
• Conduct detailed code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Configure Jenkins pipelines, automate builds and deployments, and ensure code quality and security scans
• Create and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation, monitoring, scheduling, and system administration
• Monitor applications, fine-tune SQL queries, optimize JVM performance, and resolve scalability issues
• Manage production deployments, troubleshoot live issues, and ensure system stability with quick turnaround
• Prepare technical documentation, architectural diagrams and runbooks collaborating with stakeholders for end-to-end delivery.
