Job summary

Altimetrik, a leading digital business enablement company, is seeking a Java Technical Lead/Architect in Memphis, TN. You will design REST APIs, orchestrate workflows, and own integration boundaries to drive scalable, secure, and measurable outcomes.

You\'ll mentor engineers, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure robust data persistence with Spring Data JPA/Hibernate on Azure SQL. The role emphasizes performance, reliability, and DevOps excellence within a modern Kubernetes environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years backend Java/Spring experience preferred.
• Experience designing and operating REST APIs at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design & implement REST APIs with backward-compatible evolution.
• Orchestrate complex business workflows across external systems.
• Own integration boundaries with downstream systems and error handling.
• Build data persistence layers with Spring Data JPA / Hibernate on Azure SQL.
• Implement caching with Redis/Redisson for performance.
• Write production-grade unit, service, and integration tests.
• Design Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments across environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Manage Docker containers and optimize images with security in mind.
• Investigate incidents using Dynatrace and log analysis.
• Document design decisions and maintain alignment with code.
• Mentor junior engineers on domain knowledge and patterns.
