Job summary

Pittsburgh Tomorrow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performance tech team supporting critical financial services applications in a modern Agile environment.

The role requires deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, APIs, and microservices, with prior experience in banking/financial services preferred. The candidate will design, develop, test, and operate enterprise-grade software across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Java development.
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Redis or similar caching tech.
• Strong OO design and SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise-grade Java applications and microservices.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs that support scalable business solutions.
• Develop solutions using Spring Boot and related Spring frameworks.
• Leverage Redis and other caching technologies to improve performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum environment.
